I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. The area I grew up in inspired me to make the investment in myself to go to college and learn how I can be an asset to my community and make a real difference. Graduating the University of Akron with my bachelor’s degree in Social Work gave me the opportunity to intern at Project GRAD then become a part of staff! It was in my time as an intern that I realized just how much social work is needed in schools and how my passion lies with Project GRAD’s mission because I’ve seen how Graduation Really Achieves Dreams.

In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, eating delicious food and relaxing. I listen to and love music from The Temptations to Erykah Badu or Biggie Smalls–it’s all on my playlist!
