My favorite thing about Project GRAD Akron is the opportunity to connect with families, community members, volunteers, staff, mentors and students.

Born and raised in Wisconsin. Graduate of Pius XI High School (Milwaukee) and Hillsdale College (MI). Competitive flatwater paddler in high school and volleyball and field hockey in college. Lifelong lover of the north woods, particularly the Boundary Waters and Les Cheneaux. Serving the community as a board member of SingStark, Inc, and Maria’s Mission Los Niños. Member of the Bahá’í Faith. Married with a blended family including 5 children, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and one lively Weimaraner named Whiskey. Green Bay Packer fan married to a Steelers fan (what was I thinking?). Deep appreciation for music of all kinds with a playlist that includes Latin and Kpop, classical and opera, and everything in between. Sing in a Rock Choir. When not working you will find me digging in my flower gardens and spending time with family and friends at our weekly Sunday dinners.
