A little about Michael:

Michael A. Kavulic, Ph.D., is a proud resident of Akron and Northeast Ohio. Dr. Kavulic is active in his community where he lives with his wife Carol and daughter Emerson. He is involved in several efforts and organizations in Akron, Ohio and surrounding areas. 

Dr. Kavulic has worked in higher education for over 14 years. He received his B.A. in English from the College of Wooster (2005), his M.S. in Higher Education (2010) from Syracuse University, and his Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration (2017) from Kent State University. 

Throughout his career, he has held roles in student affairs, facilities, technology, research, and university governance.  These roles have taken him from the College of Wooster to Syracuse University, to Northern Illinois University and to Kent State University. He also serves as an instructor in Kent State’s Higher Education Administration program
