Favorite thing about Project GRAD Akron:
My favorite thing about Project GRAD Akron is the positive influence they are having on the youth of Akron. The programs are focused on pre-kindergarten all the way to high school. I believe they are positioning students for success not only for today but for the future as well.
A little about Diane:
I am an Akron native and a proud graduate of Buchtel High School as well as the University of Akron. I hold two degrees for U of A - Bachelor of Science in Industrial Mgt, as well as a Master of Business, with a concentration in Finance. I have worked in government for over 40 years, first at the City of Akron, working my way up from a Summer Recreation Seasonal to the Director of Finance. I retired in 2019 and began another career with the County of Summit.
My passion is service to others. I enjoy working with others to accomplish the goal. In order to be a good leader, you need to be passionate. I believe no job is too big or too small if you are committed to doing it well. My hobbies are reading, long walks outside, and of course shopping.
