I grew up in Alliance, OH (about 45 minutes away from Akron) and have been in NE Ohio my entire life. I originally worked in Social Work in Cleveland before attending medical school. I have been working at Cleveland Clinic Akron General since 2007. During the pandemic and in the years afterword I worked with Akron General and some folks at the APS to gain exposure to medical professionals with some roundtable discussions, and experiences with the students, which I believe led me on the path to joining Project GRAD.
 
Outside of work, I am devoted to my wife, dog, and 3 adolescent/young adult kids. I love travel, outdoor activities, and do my best to stay active with exercise, soccer, and hiking.
