Project GRAD Akron has demonstrated that academic preparation, high expectations for all students, real and perceived college affordability, as well as peer, parent, and community influences, play a vital role in ensuring that all students have the opportunity to learn and achieve at high levels. Your support of our programs and services help to ensure that the dream of graduation from high school and college are possible.
We ask that you join us in this commitment by making a donation to support the mission and work of Project GRAD Akron.
By contributing to Project GRAD Akron, you are helping to make the dream of a college education for the students we serve in the Akron Public Schools. Project GRAD Akron believes that all students in high-need, low-income schools can graduate from high school and pursue a college degree.
For nearly fifteen years, Project GRAD Akron has been deeply committed to advancing the vision of high school graduation and college success for all. Project GRAD Akron fulfills its mission through the provision of services in the areas of academic support, social services, college access, college awareness and readiness, and scholarship. Our students and families are supported by full-time and part-time staff, college interns, and board and community volunteers who provide programs and support to students, their family members, and teachers. Our current schools are: Buchtel (grades 7-12), Crouse (grades K-6), Helen Arnold (grades K-6), and Schumacher (grades K-6).
